The Type 8619 Multichannel and Multifunction Transmitter/Controller is a microprocessor transmitter/controller that is available in panel mount or wall mount housing variants. It allows the direct connection of sensors that provide raw signals, such as pH, ORP, conductivity and flow via pulse sensing, or sensors (such as pressure, level, chlorine) that provide analog signals (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-2 V, 0-5 V, 0-10 V).
The Type 8619 is the ideal device for data acquisition and control as well as dosing tasks, e.g. in the applications of water treatment plants (such as boiler, cooling tower and reverse osmosis systems) and food and pharmaceutical plants. Modularity in hardware and software offer a high degree of flexibility for adaptation to the applications, combined with the appropriate price/performance ratio. Highly developed electronics and state-of-the-art control algorithms ensure optimal process control and thus the highest quality at all times with minimal effort through the intervention of the operator.
Thanks to the full support of Modbus TCP and PROFINET (conformity class B) or EtherNet/IP, the Type 8619 can be integrated into most industrial Ethernet environments. This means that all important process values, such as measurement data, process diagnostics or device status, can be easily transferred to the automation system.
