The Type 8188 is a level measuring device with rope and rod probe, both interchangeable, or with coaxial measuring probe for continuous level measurement. It is designed for industrial applications for measuring liquids in all areas of process engineering. With measuring ranges of up to 75 m, the 8188 is also suitable for tall containers. Even process conditions such as strong steam development, density fluctuations or changes in the dielectric coefficient do not affect the accuracy of the measurement. Adhesions or condensation formation on the probe or on the vessel wall have no influence on the measurement result. Liquid separation layer measurement is also possible with the Type 8188, typically in an oil/water separation layer.
