The sensor fitting type S030 has an integrated impeller for measuring the flow and is specially designed for operation with neutral, slightly aggressive, solid-free liquids.
The compact sensor fitting (type S030) must be equipped with a Bürkert transmitter (type SE30, type SE30 Ex, type SE32, type SE35, type SE36 or type 8611), which can be connected quickly and easily with a bayonet lock. The Bürkert "Inline-Quarter-Turn" technology is a design that ensures leak-free operation.
The impeller rotation (permanent magnets contained in the wings) is detected contactlessly by the sensitive element of the transmitter through the sensor fitting wall. The transmitter can be mounted or disassembled without opening the pipeline or interrupting the ongoing process.
