The electromagnetic flowmeter type 8045 consists of an electronic module with a backlit display, control buttons and a sensor made of PVDF or stainless steel. It is suitable for pipelines with nominal diameters of DN 06–DN 400 and neutral and aggressive liquids with a conductivity greater than 20 μS/cm.
The type 8045 is equipped with a 4–20 mA current output, a digital output (preset as pulse output). Some variants offer 2 relay outputs and a digital input. Two independent meters allow the flow rate to be counted.
This flow meter is available with either a G 2" connector for a PVDF sensor or a G 2" or clamp connector for a stainless steel sensor intended for use with the S020 insertion fitting.
The stainless steel sensor variant is suitable for applications at higher pressures (PN 16) and higher temperatures (110 °C). The variant with alloy C22 electrodes is suitable for applications with aggressive liquids (chemicals) and especially seawater applications.
