Solenoid coils for the electrical actuation of solenoid valves

Solenoid coils convert electrical energy into a magnetic field, enabling solenoid valves to operate. They are an essential component for controlling liquids and gases in technical systems. Our range includes solenoid coils from various manufacturers and series to meet different electrical connection requirements.

Solenoid coils from different manufacturers and series

Our range includes solenoid coils from AVS Römer, E-MC, Goyen Mecair, M&M International and RPE Srl. Depending on the manufacturer and application, different versions are available, including products from the 2000 and 7000 series.

As solenoid coils are designed for specific valves, their design and technical specifications must match the valve being used. Before replacing or reordering a coil, check the manufacturer's information and the exact product designation.

Different voltages for various applications

Solenoid coils are available in different voltage versions for integration into a range of control and power supply systems. These include, among others:

  • Direct current (DC), for example 6 V, 12 V, 24 V, 48 V, 110 V and 196 V
  • Alternating current (AC), for example 12 V, 24 V, 48 V, 115 V, 120 V, 220 V, 230 V and 240 V, depending on frequency and version
  • Versions for specific AC voltage and frequency combinations, such as 110 V at 50 Hz or 120 V at 60 Hz

Available voltages and frequencies vary by product. The values listed are therefore a selection from the range and are not available for every series.

Selecting the right solenoid coil

When selecting a solenoid coil, you should check the following technical characteristics in particular:

  • Valve compatibility: The solenoid coil must be designed for the relevant valve type and series.
  • Supply voltage: The rated voltage and current type must match the available power supply.
  • Frequency: For AC versions, the specified mains frequency and corresponding voltage rating must be observed.
  • Electrical connection: The connection type and installation arrangement must suit the application.
  • Operating conditions: Permitted ambient temperature and other technical limits should be checked against the product specifications.

Solenoid coils as replacement parts

A compatible replacement solenoid coil can help restore the functionality of an existing solenoid valve without requiring the entire valve assembly to be replaced. This requires the replacement coil to be electrically and mechanically compatible with the existing valve.

Before ordering, compare the part number, valve series, voltage and frequency with the information on the existing coil or in the technical documentation. This will help you find a suitable solenoid coil for your application.
