The inclined seat control valve manufactured by M & M is actuated by a compact pneumatic built-in positioning function, which operates in a closed circuit. The switch point signal (transmitted from the control board) is compared with the control feedback signal of the positioning function. If these 2 values do not match, the positioning function activates 2 microvalves (which open or close the valve) until the values match. The proportionality between valve lift and torque flow is ensured by the special design (linear or equal percentage). When the valve is completely closed, the hydraulic seal is additionally secured by another seal, as is standard in standard M & M angle seat valves.
Conversion kit position indicator
Conversion kit suitable for all M & M angle seat valves. Thus, a position indicator (magnetic or inductive) can be installed on the top of the control head. It transmits an electrical signal showing the open position of the valve. The function should not be confused with the positioning function, which shows the exact open or closed position of the valve. The sensor is not included in the conversion kit. The conversion kit is suitable for magnetic or inductive sensors with threaded bodies with a maximum outer diameter of 12mm.
